Independent Living Day

Walsall Council together with Walsall Disability Forum are holding another Independent Living Day on 18 March 2008. The event is to be held in the Town Hall between 12.30pm and 4pm and will be open to members of the Public.
The afternoon will consist of information stalls from a range of voluntary sector support groups.
Advice and information will be offered at the stalls, as well as promoting awareness and details of how to access their services. Organisations that are planning to attend range from Arthritis Care to the Royal National Institute for the Deaf.
Jane Lane School choir will be performing at the event, and Walsall tPCT will be giving a talk on becoming an ‘Expert Patient’, and will also be available to answer questions during the afternoon.
