The creepy crawly invasion from Dudley Zoo will take place on the third floor of the museum on Tuesday 12 August from 11.30am to 3pm.

The event is part of the museum’s 'A Walk in the Park; The History of Walsall’s Green Spaces' exhibition which runs until the middle of September 2008.

On show will be giant millipedes, hissing cockroaches, Giant African Land Snails and other six-legged creatures from the award-winning tourist attraction’s Discovery Centre.

Caroline will be explaining the importance of indigenous insects and talking about the Zoo’s conservation work with highly endangered species.

The event is free to attend and visitors can pop into the Museum to meet the interesting insects at any time between 11.30am and 3pm.
