Important notice
Following on from our previous notice we have installed the new air conditioning units. They are working well. We reopened on 15 January 2010 after a four day closure. We will be closing for a further week, however, from 15-20 March 2010 inclusive to enable essential painting work to be carried out. We will re-open on Tuesday, 23 March 2010.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Notice for all local history centre users
As from 1 April 2010 all our charges will be revised. Also we are introducing a paid research service and will no longer be carrying out a half hour's unpaid research for inquirers. The revised scale of charges is shown below:
