Syringe disposal
Street Pride presently operate a removal service for discarded syringes and hypodermic needles. The service is available 24 hours per day 7 days per week. During the normal working day, syringes or needles will be removed within four hours of notification.
Collections between dusk and dawn will only be undertaken if there is no risk to the person retrieving the discarded item, if this is not possible, removal will occur the following morning. Once collected these items are disposed of in a safe and permanent manner.
