Werd yo cum from?
Walsall Libraries and Heritage launched a family competition during October half-term celebrate the famous Black Country dialect.
The competition is called Werd yo’ cum from? and is being offered through all Walsall Libraries and the Local History Centre, in support of the National Year of Reading campaign.
Walsall Libraries has set the challenge for local people to find the origin of 20 local words and phrases used by our forefathers in times past.
